The Virginia Museum of Fine Arts  will maintain normal hours during this holiday season.  On both Christmas and New Year's Day, the museum will be open for visitors from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. with Amuse Restaurant and Best Cafe opening at noon.

On December 24, VMFA will open its newest special exhibition, Elvis at 21.  Displaying 56 dramatic photographs of young Elvis Presley while on tour in 1956, the exhibition reveals an early career on the cusp of international superstardom.  Taken by Alfred Wertheimer, the black and white photographs capture a youthful and innocent side of the future rock 'n' roll icon, while revealing his growing influence throughout the country.

Admission to Elvis at 21 is free for VMFA members and children 6 and younger, $8 for adults and $6 for seniors and groups of 10 or more.
