Through August 15, 2012, Jamestown Settlement.
An exhibition organized by the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts (VMFA) in cooperation with the Jamestown-Yorktown Foundation explores developments that set in motion the transition from "old: world of the Mediterranean- the center of European commerce and diplomacy since ancient times- to a new globally connected world. Artifacts from European, Asian, African and American cultures are on exhibit. Admission is $15.50 for adults and $7.25 for ages 6-12. Children under 6 are free. Museum hours are 9am to 5pm daily. Jamestown Settlement is located on State Route 31 in James City County, adjacent to Historic Jamestowne!
