The Poetic Principles series presented by VMFA and the New Virginia Review continues with readings by novelist Christine Schutt in the Pauley Center at 6 p.m. Schutt is the author of two short story collections, "A Day, A Night, Another Day, Summer" (Triquarterly, 2005) and "Nightwork" (Knopf, 1996). She has also written two novels: "All Souls" (Harcourt, 2008), which was a finalist for the 2009 Pulitzer Prize; and "Florida" (Mariner, 2005), which was a finalist for the 2004 National Book Award.
